So, I documented what kind of API LMDB exposed, and I stopped on a very interesting one: LMDB lets you create nested write transactions. If you provide a parent write transaction when you create a new one, you can get a new write transaction that applies its set of changes and either commits or aborts, rolling back only the subset of changes it modified.
